The Women’s Philanthropy Board of Jewish Federation of San Diego proudly presents our next Brunch Club and volunteering event!
This special morning is an opportunity to connect with fellow women leaders who are passionate about making a difference in our community. We will begin with a discussion on the challenges faced by struggling Jewish individuals in San Diego, highlighting key findings from our recent community study. This study sheds light on the needs and gaps within our community, allowing us to better understand and address these issues.
We’re honored to be joined by two remarkable speakers: Shreya Shah Sasaki, Chief Program and Impact Officer for Jewish Family Service of San Diego, and Mindi Frankel, Executive Director of Hebrew Free Loan of San Diego. Together, these trailblazers will guide us through a powerful discussion on the challenges facing struggling Jewish individuals in San Diego, highlighting key findings from the recent San Diego Jewish Community study, “A Blueprint for Our Future.” Their expertise and passion for making a difference are sure to inspire and energize us all.
Following our engaging discussion, we’ll roll up our sleeves for a hands-on volunteer activity with the San Diego chapter of Dignity Grows. Together, we’ll assemble tote bags filled with essential menstrual and hygiene products. These items will be distributed by our local partners to those in need, providing crucial support and dignity to individuals facing hardship.
